What we found
An old building in La Saïdia, with no lift and in need of a major renovation. The structure needed work before anything else could happen: the whole roof had to be reinforced and the facade rebuilt. What made it worth doing was the location, close to the Turia and the centre, and the height of the ceilings. That height let us plan four independent studios.
What we changed
Lidia led a full renovation, from the structure up: a reinforced roof, a new facade, new walls and new installations throughout. Inside, we designed four studios in two layouts. Two have a mezzanine bedroom that uses the full ceiling height, and two are on a single level. Working with the investors, we added air conditioning in the mezzanines, an extra window and changes to the furniture layout. We also adapted the studios for mid-term stays, so they suit people living here for months rather than nights.
How it is now
Four fully furnished studios with high ceilings, built for people settling into Valencia. The first two opened in August 2026 and the mezzanine studios followed in October.
